If you were stranded on a desert island, which one person would you bring with you?

Well I don't think that any of my friends would appreciate me bringing them to a desert island knowing that we'd be stranded there. If I had to be stuck on a desert island, not having anyone else there would probably be best. I wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone else or vice versa assuming we have to figure out how to survive. Who knows what you might run into on a desert island. It reminds me too much about The Lord of the Flies...
